“…I get nervous and awkward in front of cameras, and she was able to dismantle that and capture beautiful moments. She is also committed to going above and beyond her job duties. My dress broke, and she was right there sewing it back together. She truly makes sure that you have the absolute best day ever.”
-
“…Anna's personality and professionalism fit perfectly with our wedding day. It was a calm and fun experience with lots of laughs. She knew how to get the best shots from two people can be awkward in front of the camera and was great at wrangling the family. When we we got the album we were BLOWN AWAY so happy with the results. I love looking at them and am having a hard time narrowing down which to print and hang in our home! Thank you so much Anna.”
-
“I had such a wonderful experience with USHINE studios. Anna went above and beyond what a photographer should. She helped me bustle my dress and even brought a little sewing kit and helped fix my dress before the reception. She helped the guys to get all of their stuff on and looking good as well. I am not comfortable taking pictures at all and Anna helped to pose us and make sure we looked good. I got so many compliments from my bridal party about how friendly and helpful Anna was…”
-
“…Anna is so incredibly talented! She has such a vision for her shots and our photos turned out so beautifully. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and was so fun to work with from start to finish. I cannot recommend enough!”

I take a personal approach when it comes to wedding photography. I try to be the photographer I would want at my own wedding. I will capture all the authentic moments, big, small, and everything in between. Each wedding differs from the last. I love being challenged to get fantastic pictures, regardless of location or weather. My couples are so much more than clients to me; consider me an extra bridesmaid or new life-long friend. My photography is rooted in my passion for bringing smiles to my client's faces.
On your wedding day, I'm so much more than a photographer. As a self-proclaimed wedding day problem solver, I'll help pin boutonnieres on the suits, bustle the dresses, and sew them if they rip. Above all, I will be a helping hand and a friend to support you.

I would describe my photography style as more documentary, journalistic, and editorial with a touch of posed portraits. Portraits and group photos are a MUST, but I will make sure to catch ALL the candid moments. I prefer to capture the authentic moment rather than posing, BUT when posing, I will give you prompts so you feel comfortable and have fun the entire time!
My approach is a perfect balance of calmness, patience, and efficiency. I am driven by creativity and an unwavering passion for my craft. What sets my style apart is its wide and inclusive nature, ensuring that every client's unique vision is understood and satisfied.
I possess the ability to anticipate and capture those fleeting moments that encapsulate all the special emotions of your wedding day. From the loving gazes exchanged between you and your partner to the simple moments of togetherness, I strive to narrate the beautiful story of your love through my photographs. These timeless images will leave a lasting impression on your heart, enhancing your cherished memories long after the day is over.

After booking, feel free to talk to me about your wedding ideas and plans as much or as little as you wish. With some clients, I know absolutely everything that’s going on, whereas, with others, I know nothing. It’s cool, just be you, and if you need help with a certain problem, or want an extra, objective opinion on an idea, I am always happy to help.
If you have added an engagement session, we will find a date that works and discuss what you may wish to do for it. It’s a great time to learn how to pose and relax in front of the camera. It’s also an opportunity for us to get to know each other even more. I ask you about any camera fears or worries and hope to put you at ease. We have a crazy amount of fun and get some stunning photos while we’re at it!

In the days and months leading up to your wedding, you plan and make several decisions. One of the biggest questions I get is, “Do I really need a second photographer at my wedding?”
At a wedding, a photographer is pulled into several different directions and places. We are extraordinary, but to provide high-quality service and results, two is better than one.
A second photographer works alongside the primary shooter. They photograph different angles from the other and help assist them with equipment and other logistics come wedding day. A second person helping can provide a different type of style, ultimately giving you more options for images. Many photographers rely on a second shooter and assistant to keep an eye on things that don’t belong in a photo. For example, a person wearing sunglasses in a family photo, uneven bowties, a phone in a pocket, and so forth.
They save time and speed up the process. Perhaps while the primary photographer is capturing you and the groom’s photos, the second photographer can begin to shoot the bridal party’s images. In the end, you will come out with more photographs with two shooters. They play a significant role in photographing the small details throughout the entire day. It is a great benefit!
If you have a large venue, they can cover more ground. This goes for the guests mingling and dancing! They are able to capture more moments during the party. One photographer can’t be in two locations at the same time. For example, one photographer can capture the girl’s bridal party getting ready for the big day while the other capture’s the guys. Also, throughout the day, it is essential to focus on the bride and groom. But it is equally important to provide a holistic view of what else is going on during that time.
I hope this information helps you understand why having two wedding photographers is ideal. While the primary photographer is focused on the key subjects, the second photographer goes full ninja-mode and helps capture shots to complete the story!

-
At this time, no I do not but I have a list of the areas top videographers that I love working with.
-
In over 8 years of photographing weddings, I've never missed one.
If an extreme emergency ever prevented me from being there, I have a network of trusted professional photographers I would coordinate with, and I would remain involved to ensure your images are edited and delivered with the same level of care.
-
Absolutely. You don't need to know what to do.
I'll guide you with natural prompts and subtle direction so you never feel awkward or stiff. My goal isn't to make you "perform" for the camera. It's to help you relax, connect with each other, and create photos that genuinely feel like you.

Rain doesn't ruin beautiful wedding photos.
We'll adapt the timeline, use covered locations, clear umbrellas, or embrace the weather if you're up for it. Some of my favorite images have been made on rainy wedding days.
-
Always.
I bring multiple professional camera bodies, lenses, flashes, batteries, and memory cards. Every image is also recorded to two memory cards simultaneously for added peace of mind.
-
Of course.
Before your wedding, we'll discuss family portraits, meaningful traditions, heirlooms, and any must-have moments. While I photograph your day as it naturally unfolds, I always make sure the people and moments that matter most to you are prioritized.
-
Every wedding is different, so I don't promise a specific number.
Instead, I deliver every image that meaningfully tells the story of your day. Quality is always more important than hitting a certain photo count.
-
Yes!
Whether your wedding is close to home or across the country, I'd love to celebrate with you. Travel costs, if applicable, are discussed upfront so there are no surprises.
